According to Zinburger’s CEO Brad Honigfeld, he wants to open 10 to 15 new Zinburger’s a year and says he has leases for the next 10 already. Several will be in Simon Property Group malls, including Lenox Square in Atlanta; Town Center at Boca Raton, Fla.; Sawgrass Mills, Sunrise, Fla.; The Shops at Nanuet in Nanuet, N.Y; and Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station, N.Y. A non-Simon location will be The Streets at South Point in Durham, N.C.
[pullquote_right]Energetic, modern, upbeat, fun & most importantly, simply delicious, Zinburger offers mouthwatering selections of gourmet burgers, salads, sides, decadent shakes, desserts, & carefully crafted selection of wine[/pullquote_right]
Now, this is NOWHERE on The Shops at Nanuet’s website OR Facebook page…but it seems to be confirmed.
Zinburger is just as it sounds, a Wine & Burger bar. Their target market seems to be couples and “ladies nights”, but hey, that’s just my opinion.
The only other locations that are already established so far is in Cherry Hill, NJ, Clifton, NJ and the Garden State Plaza Mall. The concept has hit hard already with lines around the corners on the weekends.
The burgers are innovative and add to the new 2013 style of gourmet pub grub. Famous selections include The Zinburger with Manchego Cheese & Zinfandel Braised Onions; The Samburger with Nueske’s Maple Bacon, American Cheese & Thousand Island Dressing; and the Kobe Burger with Vermont Cheddar & Wild Mushrooms (priced from $9-$14.) Side selections include generous portions of Handcut Fries; Sweet Potato Fries with Yogurt Dressing; and Zucchini Fries with Parmesan & Ranch (priced at $3-5). Market fresh salads selections include the BLT Salad with Nueske’s Maple Bacon & Cowboy Ranch Dressing; and Roasted Chicken Salad with Organic Greens, Pomegranate, Marcona Almonds & Goat Cheese Dressing ($8-$12). And for dessert – a delicious array of hand-dipped old fashioned milkshakes and floats.
“The setting is sleek, contemporary, upbeat and playful featuring rich wood and earth tones and stylish, comfortable seating. The restaurant offers a full bar with cocktails, 18 wines by glass, and 17 beer selections with 8 of these on tap.”
“Absolutely delicious burgers. Happy hour From 3 to 6 with simple burger for 5 dollars, half off appetizers and dollar off all liqour, beer, and wine.
The Happy hour simple burger is cooked to order, juicy and pretty big for five dollars. Simple but extremely rich in taste. Sweet potato fries are flavorful and crispy. Fried to perfection while still preserving the sweet potato flavor. Bar service is quick and friendly. Truffle fries. Definitely a must.
Definitely recommended” – DanP
“Best burger ever. They are a little fanatical about grinding fresh beef every day, but wow, you can taste the difference. Good wine selection esp. for a burger place. But they have beer too if you’d rather have that with a burger. A must-try new place.” – SteveB
