Easter Egg Hunt – Suffern Gazebo – starting at 9am. Following the Egg Hunt, come inside and meet the Easter Bunny. Bagels and juices will be served. In case of inclement weather – Egg Hunt will be held inside.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. with breakfast available for purchase at the park. All children will be divided into two age groups: 5 and under and 6-10 years old. The 30-minute hunt will begin at 9:45 as all participants search the outfield for eggs filled with candy. Scattered among the projected 3,000 eggs will be several “Golden Eggs” that will include Boulders prizes including tickets and the ability to throw out the first pitch prior to a 2014 home game. Kids must bring their own bags/baskets. Kids can take pictures with Boulder Bird and the Bunny throughout the day.
The “Boulders Eggs-press” will be available for rides while music plays throughout the ballpark. BoulderBird’s Egg Hunt is the second new children’s event this offseason that features free candy and a safe environment, following the first annual BouderBird’s Trick of Treat on Oct., 31.
The Boulders will commence their fourth season in the CanAm League on Friday, May 23 at 7PM when they take on the defending champion Quebec Capitales. Tickets are now available by calling (845) 364-0009 or sliding to www.RocklandBoulders.com.
Piermont will be holding its third annual Easter Egg Hunt for children at 10 AM Saturday, April 19, in the village’s Flywheel Park (in front of the library).
Parents are encouraged to sign up early for the Piermont Civic Association sponsored affair. The fee is $5 a child, or $10 a family. To register call Kathleen Puder at 845-304-4838, or Patricia Lukes at 845-521-6005.
“Meet the Bunny” Festival
Hop on over to Continental Soldiers Park on Saturday, April 12 from 1-3 p.m. (Rain or Shine) for Mahwah’s Annual “Meet the Bunny” Festival.

Easter Bunny Train
The Volunteer Railroaders Association along with the Tri-State Chapter National Railway Historical Society have announced the return of their very popular Easter Bunny Train Ride to be held this year on April 13th. Ticket prices are $10 for children under 12 & $14 for everyone else. Tickets may be purchased on line athttp://www.easterbunnytrain.com/ or by calling 973-238-0555.
Sunday April 13th the trains will depart the NJ Transit Glen Rock Boro Hall station at 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm & 3:30 pm.
During the one hour ride the Easter Bunny will hop through the train and visit each child & give them a special gift from his basket. Each child will also receive a chocolate bunny pop from The Chocolate Box in Hawthorne & an Operation Life Saver coloring book. In addition each child can have his or her picture taken with the bunny so they can always remember their ride, so bring your cameras. Also on board will be other cartoon characters to entertain the kids & make for a great day out for all on board.
