Come and join the Rockland Boulders for a free Egg Hunt at Provident Bank Park. Boulder Bird will host all children 10 and under for the “Boulder Egg Hunt” on April 19 at 9 AM.
“We are excited about hosting another family-friendly event at Provident Bank Park especially after the success of BoulderBird’s Trick or Treat last fall” said Boulders President Ken Lehner. “As an organization we are committed to providing kid-safe entertainment for all of our fans, no matter what age and Provident Bank Park is the perfect place to do so.”

Doors will open at 9 a.m. with breakfast available for purchase at the park. All children will be divided into two age groups: 5 and under and 6-10 years old. The 30-minute hunt will begin at 9:45 as all participants search the outfield for eggs filled with candy. Scattered among the projected 3,000 eggs will be several “Golden Eggs” that will include Boulders prizes including tickets and the ability to throw out the first pitch prior to a 2014 home game. Kids must bring their own bags/baskets. Kids can take pictures with Boulder Bird and the Bunny throughout the day.

The “Boulders Eggs-press” will be available for rides while music plays throughout the ballpark. BoulderBird’s Egg Hunt is the second new children’s event this offseason that features free candy and a safe environment, following the first annual BouderBird’s Trick of Treat on Oct., 31.

The Boulders will commence their fourth season in the CanAm League on Friday, May 23 at 7PM when they take on the defending champion Quebec Capitales. Tickets are now available by calling (845) 364-0009 or sliding to www.RocklandBoulders.com.

Piermont will be holding its third annual Easter Egg Hunt for children at 10 AM Saturday, April 19, in the village’s Flywheel Park (in front of the library).

Parents are encouraged to sign up early for the Piermont Civic Association sponsored affair. The fee is $5 a child, or $10 a family. To register call Kathleen Puder at 845-304-4838, or Patricia Lukes at 845-521-6005.
